The meeting was called to order by president, Scott Woogen at 5:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Those present were: Scott Woogen, Greg Trotto, Betsy Brown, Charles Robbins, Terry Kibler, Anne McDonald, Debbie Warnick
MEETING MINUTES: The minutes from the previous Board of Directors meeting held on September 5, 2018 were approved as written.
TREASURER’S REPORT: The treasurer’s report as of September 29, 2018 was reviewed and approved as written.
OLD BUSINESS:
Item 1. General Meeting
Scott reported on the Association meeting that was held on September 22nd in the Lilly Building following the race meet. There were 36 members present. Elections for the three seats on the Board were held. Scott Woogen, Betsy Brown and Wanda Foley were elected to fill them. A race meet committee was established consisting of Billy Carter and Lawrence Cooper. A breeding committee was established consisting of Randy Jackson, Betsy Brown, Anne McDonald and Scott Warnick.
NEW BUSINESS:
Item 1. Election of Officers
It was moved, seconded and voted unanimously that the officers will be Scott Woogen, President; Greg Trotto, Vice President, Betsy Brown, Treasurer; Debbie Warnick, Secretary.
Item 2. Stipend payments
There was discussion on paying a $100.00 stipend to all race participants that finish 6th, 7th or 8th. It was moved and seconded that these payments should be paid and should be made retroactive to the start of this year’s meet. This motion was approved unanimously.
As there was no further business to be discussed, Scott Woogen adjourned the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
