The meeting was called to order by president, Scott Woogen at 6:15 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Those present in person were: Scott Woogen, Charles Robbins, Betsy Brown, Billy Carter, Stacey McLenghan, Tyler Shehan, Dee Lineweaver, Darrell Wood and Debbie Warnick. Leon Harris and Anne McDonald were present by phone. A quorum was declared.
MEETING MINUTES: The minutes from the meeting held on August 22, 2022 were reviewed and approved as written.
TREASURER’S REPORT: The treasurer’s report for July was reviewed.
Item 1. Race meet streaming
There were some technology issues on the first day of races with the streaming process but since then it has worked well. The online handle has exceeded our expectations with handles of $35,000- $45,000 per day.
NEW BUSINESS:
Item 1. Election of officers
It was moved and seconded that the officers remain as they have been this year. Scott Woogen as president; Charlie Robbins as vice president and Betsy Brown as treasurer. The motion passed unanimously.
Item 2. Race meet issues
There was some discussion about how the meet is progressing so far. There have been no major problems or complaints. Some questions about the carding of races and the draws were discussed with Dee.
As there was no further business to be discussed, Scott Woogen adjourned the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
