2019 RACE MEET
What a great race meet this year!! Thanks to everyone who helped plan and run the meet. Thanks also to all the horsemen & women who participated. The amount of horses entered and raced exceeded what we hoped for. Thanks also to John Campbell, Foiled Again and Heather Vitale for visiting on our opening weekend. We hope all of you enjoyed being at Shenandoah Downs and had as much fun as we did. Can’t wait for this year’s meet!

I am happy to announce that we have three stallions standing in Virginia this year.

MEMBERSHIP DUES
It’s that time of year to renew your membership in the VHHA. Our dues are still only $30.00. Membership forms are enclosed with this newsletter. We hope that everyone will continue to support the VHHA.
BREEDERS’ FUND PAYMENTS
Nomination payments for two and three year olds eligible for the Breeders’ Fund races are $200.00 per horse. These payments are due on March 15th. Sustaining payments are also $200.00 per horse and are due on May 15th. Yearling payments are $25.00. These payments are due by May 15th. Forms are available on our website, www.VHHA.net or contact Debbie Warnick if you need a copy.
CERTIFIED RESIDENCY PROGRAM
We are excited to announce that the Virginia Standardbred Certified Residency Program is continuing. This program will started with foals born in 2019 and will continue with horses born in 2020. Horses that meet the residency requirements will receive bonus payments for their races during their two and three year old seasons. Check out our website (www.vhha.net) for mor information
