Welcome to 2019 and another year of harness racing! Here’s hoping that everyone has a fantastic (and profitable) year!
BABY PICTURES
One of the great things about a new year, is the birth of foals. Please email (info@vhha.net) or text (443-463-0917) your baby pictures so I can post them on our Facebook page slideshow for everyone to see.

Sustaining payments are also $200.00 per horse and are due on May 15th. Yearling payments are $25.00. These payments are due by May 15th. Forms are available on our website, www.VHHA.net or contact Debbie Warnick if you need a copy.
SHENANDOAH COUNTY FAIR
It’s hard to imagine racing at Shenandoah County fair without Terry Kibler leading the way, but we are going to honor him by keeping the races going. Plans are already underway for racing at the fair this year. Race dates are August 28th thru August 31st so mark those dates on your calendar. We will be making some changes to the races and the purses. Details will be posted on our website (www.vhha.net), on our Facebook page and in future newsletters.
CERTIFIED RESIDENCY PROGRAM
We are excited to announce that a Standardbred Certified Residency Program is being developed for Virginia. This program will start with foals that are born this year. Horses that meet the residency requirements will receive bonus payments for their races during their two and three year old seasons. Details are still being finalized for this program. Watch for more information on our website (www.vhha.net), on our Facebook page and in future newsletters.
