The Virginia Harness Horse Association will be adding consolation races to the Breeders Fund program effective with the two year old races in 2026. The purse for these races will be $12,500. Consolation races will be held by sex and gait if at least five (5) horses declare to start. If there are less then five (5) horses the race will not be held.
